Objectives

We handle all documentation with respect to the clearance of both Trade and Non-Trade shipments at all bonds and ports throughout Trinidad:

  • Full containers from Port of Spain
  • Loose cargo at the Sheds in Port of Spain
  • Motor Vehicles at the Spectrum in Port of Spain
  • Full containers from Point Lisas
  • Loose cargo at PLIPDECO Warehouse in Point Lisas
  • Loose cargo at the Port in Point Lisas
  • Loose cargo at the Medway Warehouse in Freeport
  • Loose cargo from all bonds at Piarco
  • Loose cargo from all bonds at El Socorro

Procedures

All shipments will be treated with the utmost priority and strictest confidentiality and will be cleared by adopting the following set of procedures:

  • Documentation received at the office will be scrutinized for omissions, errors etc.
  • A file will be opened and the shipment will be referenced
  • Applicable registration will be done; or licences/permits applied for
  • The invoices will be classified
  • The customs entry will be done and assessed
  • A cheque request will be done and sent for you to prepare relevant payments
  • Payments will be made at the Customs Office and we will proceed to get all holds
    released (i.e. TTBS, Trade, Valuations, etc.)
  • The entry will be dispatched for clearance and deliver
